Later this month, Oppo is expected to launch its new Find X6 flagship series, as well as a new tablet – the Oppo Pad 2. Several details about the upcoming slate have been shared by Leakster Digital Chat Station.
A new “smart touch” keyboard with a trackpad and kickstand will be supported. In terms of “smart touch”, Oppo never released a first-party keyboard for the original Pad or Air, so there is nothing to compare it to.
According to DCS, this will be a new stylus (OPN2201). According to leaksters, the Oppo Pad 2 will provide a much more refined experience.
By the side of the tablet is an Oppo Find X6, which is presumably a reference to Oppo Connect, which allows connectivity between Oppo devices (and Windows computers too). For example, you can drag and drop files, the clipboard is shared so you can copy on one device and paste on another, you can use a second screen, etc.

Further, we also got the press image showing the Oppo Pad 2. From the leaked image, we can see that Oppo Pad 2 looks similar to its predecessor with a huge bezel-less display on the front. On the top, we got the selfie shooter, and sadly no image showing the rear of the device. The power button is on the left and the volume rockers are on the top as per the image. Further, the source also revealed Oppo Pad 2 comes with 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage variants. It comes in two colors Light feather Gold” & “Nebula Grey.
According to Geekbench, the Oppo Pad 2 features a Snapdragon 888 processor with 8GB of RAM. There has been talking of a Dimensity 9000 version, but it’s not clear if it will be released. According to a 3C certification, the battery is capable of 67W charging, but unofficial information says it is 9,500mAh. An 11.6″ 144Hz 2,800 x 2,000px LCD is expected on the Pad 2.
