For quite some time now, Google has been working on a foldable smartphone. There have been various rumors and reports regarding the Pixel Fold, but a new leak has revealed its pricing.
Yogesh Brar is the source of the latest leak. According to reports, the Pixel Fold will be priced between $1,300 (Rs.1,07,500/-) and $1,500 (Rs.1,23,900/-). It means that Google’s first foldable phone might be up to 500 dollars cheaper than Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 4 if the leak is true. South Korean brand Samsung launched its latest foldable model last year, the Galaxy Z Fold 4. Moreover, Samsung is also the market leader in foldable handsets.
With this price point, the Pixel Fold is likely to be much cheaper than the Galaxy Z Fold 5, which is set to launch later this year. According to the tipster, the Pixel Fold and mid-range Pixel 7a will be unveiled at Google I/O. It is likely that this major event will take place in May 2023. It was previously believed that the Pixel Fold and Pixel 7a would be released sometime in June.
