Both the Pixel Fold and Pixel 7a are expected to be unveiled at Google’s I/O 2023 developer conference on May 10th. WinFuture predicts both phones will be available in Europe by the second week of June. The foldable model will be called the Google Pixel Fold (not the Pixel Notepad) and it seems to have 256GB of storage. The color options will be “Carbon” (black/gray) and “Porcelain” (white).
The Pixel Fold’s internal screen will be landscape-oriented rather than portrait-oriented, according to previously reported rumors. Therefore, it would be more comparable to the Oppo Find N2 than the Galaxy Z Fold 4. When unfolding, we could see a 5.79-inch exterior screen with a punch-hole camera centered in the center and a 7.69-inch internal screen. According to reports, the device could be priced at around 1,700 Euros (Rs.1,51,000/-).
According to WinFuture, the Pixel 7a will come with 128GB of native storage and a 6.1-inch OLED screen with FHD+ (1080p) resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is expected to cost 500 Euros or Rs.44,200/- at current exchange rates. “Arctic Blue”, “Carbon”, and “Cotton” are the three colors available for the Pixel 7a.
The Pixel 7a will feature the same 5nm Google Tensor 2 chipset that powers the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, as well as 6GB of RAM. Besides a 64MP Sony IMX787 image sensor on the rear, there will also be 13MP sensors on the ultra-wide camera and the front-facing selfie camera.
