Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi Civi 2 smartphone last September. Like its predecessors, the Civi 2 was designed to cater to women. The key specifications of the upcoming Civi 3 have been revealed by a new leak.
The Xiaomi Civi 3 will feature a 120Hz refresh rate Full HD+ display, according to tipster Digital Chat Station. The two front-facing cameras are likely to be fitted with pill-shaped cutouts in a curved AMOLED screen.
According to the leak, the Civi 3 has two 32-megapixel cameras on the front. With dual front-firing LED flash units, the Civi 2 can take brighter selfies in low light. The Civi 3 may also feature dual LEDs on the front.
The primary camera on the rear of the device will be a Sony IMX800. Auxiliary cameras will not undergo any overhaul improvements, he added. The Civi 2 features a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera, a 20MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens.
All previous Xiaomi Civi models used the Snapdragon 7-series chipset. The Civi 3 may, however, be equipped with a MediaTek SoC. It was reported last month that DCS would use the Dimensity 8200 SoC in the Civi 3. It has been confirmed once again that the device will be powered by the D8200.
Other Xiaomi Civi 3 specifications are still unknown. The Civi 2 was originally priced at 2,399 Yuan (~$348) at launch. Therefore, the successor may have a similar price.
