The Vivo Y100 model has been the subject of a number of rumors over the past few weeks. It’s pricing, renderings, and even its renders have been leaked just ahead of its Feb 16 launch in India.
Design:
This device belongs to the Chinese smartphone manufacturer’s Y series. From the leaked renders, it appears that the device will have a waterdrop notch on the front and a noticeable chin. On the rear, a rectangular camera island is paired with two circular modules. We can also see the renders from the sides. Vivo Y100 will be available in three colors: Gold, Blue, and Black. It will also be possible to change the color of the rear panel.
Specs:
The new Vivo Y100 5G will now sport 6.38 inches FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It comes with in-display fingerprint scanner support. The Vivo Y100 5G will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM & 128GB storage. It also gets a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
The Vivo Y100 5G will feature triple rear cameras with 64MP main with OIS, 2MP depth & 2MP macro shooter with LED flash. There is a 16MP selfie shooter placed under the waterdrop notch. It packs a 4500 mAh battery with 44W fast charge support. The Vivo Y100 5G runs on Android 13 OS with FunTouch OS 13 on top.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, 5G Dual Mode (SA/NSA) support, IP54, Wifi 6, A-GPS, in-display fingerprint, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C port, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio certification.
According to the tipster, the device’s 8GB+128GB variant will be sold for 24,999 INR in India.
