The Indian division of Samsung released the detailed pricing for the Galaxy S23 series yesterday, one day after the company launched the Galaxy S23 series yesterday. It brings both good and bad news.
It’s bad news that all versions were priced higher than the Galaxy S22 series. In the vanilla S22, the cost is relatively minor, in the Galaxy S22+, it’s more noticeable, and in the Ultra, it’s quite substantial at INR15,000.
Plus and Ultra models come with 256GB of storage on those base models, so the difference is not monumental unless you were planning on getting a 128GB unit. In addition, India will get 12GB RAM on the 256GB Ultra.
The new Galaxy S23 with 8GB+128GB will cost Rs.74,999/- whereas the 8GB+256GB at Rs.79,999/- in India. The Galaxy S23+ with 8GB+256GB will cost Rs.94,999/- & 8GB+512GB at Rs.1,04,999/- in India. Lastly, the most expensive Galaxy S23 Ultra will set you back with a price tag of 1,24,999/- for 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB at Rs.1,34,999/- & 12GB+1TB at Rs.1,54,999/- in India.
There are four colors available for the Galaxy S23 – Black, Cream, Green, and Lavender. Only the 256GB version of the Galaxy S23+ will come in Black and Cream, while the 256GB version of the Galaxy S23 Ultra will come in Red, Graphite, Lime, and Sky Blue.
Samsung India also offers pre-booking bundles for the Galaxy S23 Ultra. A Galaxy Watch4 Classic LTE and Buds Pro 2, a 25W adapter, and a Wireless Charger Pad Solo are included for just INR4,999 more.
A Bluetooth-only Watch4 can be purchased for INR4,999 for the Galaxy S23+, while the Watch4 can be purchased for INR2,999 for the Galaxy S23.
Samsung will slash the price even further if you trade in your old smartphone for anywhere between INR8,000 and INR60,000.
