During Apple’s iPhone 14 launch, Dynamic Island was arguably the most exciting feature. There is a pill-shaped punch-hole cutout notch on the iPhone that offers an intuitive way to use it. This area offers a lot of shortcuts that make multitasking easy.
Developers built an app to add this feature to Android phones after the feature became so popular. Both Xiaomi and Realme asked their users if they wanted Dynamic Island on their upcoming Android phones. Despite Xiaomi’s plans to launch its upcoming 13 Lite with a Dynamic Island-like notch, Realme has already launched its version.
Realme’s Vice President, Madhav Sheth, teased (now deleted) their version of Dynamic Island. It is called the ‘Realme Mini Capsule’. The feature will be first seen on the upcoming C-series device, which is an intriguing entry-level device. The phone is expected to be called the Realme C55, according to reports.
Based on the image, it’s safe to speculate that Realme Mini Capsule software will be similar to Dynamic Island. In the image, you can see that it has shortcuts for a variety of actions, including the indicator for charging. The device will also support SuperVOOC fast charging. It will be the first C-series smartphone to support 33W fast charging, according to previous reports. There will be a 4880mAh battery in the phone.
Realme C55 will boot Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 out of the box.
Despite not knowing what the Realme Mini Capsule will offer, we can expect shortcuts to incoming phone calls, alerts, and notifications. Following the launch of the iPhone 14 Pro, Realme asked its fans if they wanted something similar on the Realme phones.
