With 240W fast charging support, the Realme GT Neo 5 is all set to launch. According to a senior executive, the upcoming smartphone is capable of some impressive feats because of its charging capabilities.

With its powerful charging capabilities, the GT Neo 5 can let you watch an hour-long episode after just 30 seconds of charging. As of right now, Realme GT Neo 5 is the fastest charging smartphone that will be available to consumers, with its 240W fast charging capability.

The GT Neo 5 can be charged to 100 percent in less than 10 minutes. 240W fast charging was achieved with the first custom-made 12A charger, which achieved the highest spec of 21AWG×4 in the industry. An industry-leading 2.34W/CC dual GaN mini charger is used with this wire.

Realme confirmed that the GT Neo5 would be the first smartphone to feature 240W fast charging. Now we know it will be announced on February 9. In China, the launch will take place at 2 PM local time. The device is expected to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 trade show.

Specs:

There is little official information about the phone, but there are plenty of rumors from reliable leakers. The GT Neo5 will be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, although we may see a version with Dimensity 8200 support for “just” 150W fast charging.

Other reports have mentioned a 50MP main camera with an IMX890 sensor and OIS. It was a feature seen in the Oppo Find N2 and Reno9 Pro+ smartphones. It is likely that the screen will be a 6.7″ display with 144Hz refresh rate support.
