Xiaomi is expected to release another Redmi Note 12 in the near future. The Redmi Note 12 Turbo is said to go official soon.
According to the IMEI database, the said smartphone has been spotted. It appears that the handset will also be released under a different name.
Xiaomiui reports that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo may be launched under the Poco brand outside of mainland China. Indian consumers will also be able to purchase the device.
In international markets, the smartphone may be called Poco X5 GT. According to earlier reports, it will boot MIUI 14 based on Android 13. Basically, there will be three variants of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which is codenamed, Marble.
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo comes with the Model number 23049RAD8C, the POCO X5 GT Global variant comes with 23049PCD8G & the Indian variant with 23049PCD8I.
As per the post on Weibo, the new Redmi Note 12 Turbo will sport 6.7 inches FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be the first smartphone to ship with the latest Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 SoC. The device will arrive with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage options.
It features triple rear cameras with 50MP main sensor coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro sensor with LED flash. The Redmi Note 12 Turbo will pack a 5500 mAh large battery with 67W fast charge support. It runs on Android 13 OS with MIUI 14 on top.
More details about the new Redmi Note 12 Turbo will be out in the coming weeks. Looks like this smartphone will probably land under the Redmi K60 series or POCO F5 for the Indian market.
