This is the second C-series Poco phone to be launched in India this year. The POCO C50 was unveiled in January with entry-level specs. With a better chipset onboard, the C55 is more powerful. On the front, it has a waterdrop notch screen with a tall aspect ratio, while the back panel has an attractive leather-like stitch design.

The new POCO C55 will sport 6.71 inches HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, & a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display also gets Panda Glass protection and an oleophobic coating. It is powered by MediaTek Helio G85 SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB/128GB  storage.

It features a 50MP main rear camera with LED flash along with a 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.2. The device comes with a 5MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. It packs a 5000 mAh battery with 10W charging support.

The connectivity options include Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wifi, a micro USB port, FM Radio, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It runs on Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 on top. The device measures 8.7 mm thick and weighs 192g.

Pricing:

Poco C55 is available in two configurations in India. With 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, the C55 costs Rs 9,499/-, while the 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage version cost Rs 10,999/-. Both variants will be available for Rs 8,499/- and Rs 9,999/- on the first sale date (Feb. 28). HDFC, SBI, and ICICI banks are offering discounts of up to Rs 1,000/- on the discounted prices. It comes in three colors: Power Black, Cool Blue, and Forest Green.
