It is rumored that OPPO is working on a new foldable Android flagship, the “Find N3,” which will be even more powerful than its predecessor. A significant camera upgrade is also reported for the smartphone. It is likely to be similar to the Find X6 Pro, with similar specs.
With a 50MP main camera, a 32MP telephoto lens, an in-house MariSilicon X NPU, and Hasselblad branding, OPPO’s Find N2 foldable phablet boast high-end mobile camera features. The rumored Find N3 is expected to have a massive upgrade over the 32MP telephoto shooter in the Find N2.
There will be periscope zoom lenses on some foldable devices in 2023, including the Find N3, the Huawei Mate X3, and a mystery third device. Optical zoom on smartphones has been revolutionized by the periscope lens. Due to its foldable lens design, the periscope camera can achieve a much higher zoom without digital cropping because it can fit a longer zoom into a smaller space.
As with Huawei Mate X3, the Find N3 is expected to maintain its camera upgrade. It has also been speculated that the Find N3 and Find X6 Pro may share this feature, as they did with the Find X5 Pro and N2. With its Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and Adreno 730 GPU, the Find N2 features a Qualcomm SM8475 Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. It features a 7.1-inch Foldable LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 1792 x 1920 pixels. In the future, the Oppo Find N3 is sure to have much higher specs, but right now all we have are leaks and rumors.
