The OnePlus Ace 2 smartphone was recently launched in China by OnePlus. OnePlus 11R was also launched in the global market. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset powers the device. Recently, a leak revealed that OnePlus Ace 2 will be available with the Dimenity 9000 chipset as part of its Dimensity Edition.
According to a new report, the OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity Edition will launch next month. Weibo tipster DCS (via) reveals more details about the upcoming phone in addition to the leak.
DCS says the Ace 2 Dimensity Edition will feature an AMOLED display measuring 6.74 inches with a 1.5K resolution with 120Hz adaptive refresh rates. A new camera setup is also mentioned in the report, which will consist of a 64MP OV64M main camera, an 8MP Sony IMX355 camera, and a 2MP macro camera.
There is a huge difference between the 64MP Omnivision sensor and the 50MP Sony IMX890 primary camera. The rest of the specifications appear to remain the same. The device will likely feature a 5,000mAh battery and 100W SuperVOOC fast charging, as well as Android 13-based ColorOS 13. It is expected to be cheaper than the OnePlus Ace 2.
