It is expected that the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 will be released soon. The first Nord Buds were introduced last year as some of the most affordable truly wireless stereo earbuds on the market. It is expected that the earbuds will be replaced soon. As a rebadged version of the OnePlus Buds Ace, OnePlus will likely launch the Nord Buds 2 in India and other markets. Buds Ace will be launched in China soon, according to the company.
On February 7, OnePlus TWS and OnePlus Ace 2 will launch in China. OnePlus has confirmed some key details about the upcoming TWS earbuds before their official launch. As far as design is concerned, the new Buds Ace will be identical to the Nord Buds.
Design:
The new OnePlus Buds Ace will come with some different and unique designs this time. The charging case somewhat reminds us of OnePlus Nord Buds. The device will be made out of plastic with a Silver or black coating part that is likely to be a touch-based button.
It comes with in-ear-styled earbuds with a long stem that reminds us of the popular Apple AirPods Pro. The ear tips are slightly bent inwards to offer a better in-ear feel. It comes in two colors Moonlight White, and Twilight Black.
Specs:
Buds Ace will feature a dedicated noise reduction chip that supports Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Nord Buds launched last year lacked this feature. According to OnePlus, the Buds Ace will last up to 36 hours on a single charge. It is important to note that the battery life claimed includes the juice provided by the charging case.
With the same design as the outgoing Nord Buds, this is quite an upgrade. Nord Buds were originally advertised to have a battery life of up to 30 hours. It has also been confirmed that the Bud’s Ace supports fast charging. Up to 10 hours of playback can be obtained from a 5-minute charge. As with the Nord Buds, this is faster than the 10-minute charge time of the Nord Buds.
In the teasers, it appears that gamers will enjoy an enhanced experience. When in game mode, the earbuds could have a low latency of up to 47ms. Other features include a Dynamic Bass System called BassWave, Bluetooth 5.3 support, and more.
