On Feb. 26, Xiaomi will launch the Xiaomi 13, 13 Pro, and 13 Lite for the global market. Xiaomi’s Chinese arm is likely to gradually shift its focus from the global launch to the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, the company’s most powerful flagship phone. There are rumors that it will break cover in April. In advance of its launch, TechGoing published images of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra’s rear.
The alleged case for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra shows that its design will not be too different from last year’s China-exclusive Xiaomi 12S Ultra. In the leaked images, we can see that the 13 Ultra has the same humongous round camera module as its predecessor. Viewing the case from the side reveals how much the camera island will protrude.
There are four round cutouts in the center of the case images. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is rumored to have a quad-camera setup, including a 1-inch, 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 primary camera. According to reports, the main camera is equipped with a gimbal-optimized lens.
A pill-shaped cutout can be found at the top of the camera module. A microphone and LED flash could be installed in the remaining cutouts on the camera island. On the right side of the phone, there are cutouts for volume up/down and power buttons. On the top, there are some cutouts for a speaker, a microphone, and an IR blaster.
