The S22 Ultra is reportedly capable of recording 4K videos at 30fps, while the current model can only record 1080p videos at 30fps. Additionally, the subject and background will be better separated.
There is no word on whether these enhancements will be available on the Galaxy S23’s other two models. Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipsets are found in them all, but only the Ultra has an ISOCELL HP2 200MP camera. It will be replaced by 50MP sensors in the S22 and S22+.
As for the thermals, The Cat writes that they are “relatively good,” so the Galaxy S23 Ultra shouldn’t heat up too much when shooting these more demanding video modes. On February 1, the S23 series will be officially unveiled.
