Two new Galaxy A-series smartphones have been launched by Samsung. Both the Galaxy A14 5G and Galaxy A23 5G have been quietly unveiled by Samsung. They were originally slated to launch on January 18. As of now, Samsung has revealed the pricing and sale details of both Galaxy smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy A23 5G:
Design:
The Galaxy A23 5G will flaunt the same design that was previously launched devices. For the selfie camera, there’s a waterdrop notch cutout on the front. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that doubles as the power button. The USB-C connector at the bottom that’s also home to a 3.5mm headphone jack and speaker. It measures 8.4mm thick and weighs 197g.
Specs:
The new Galaxy A23 5G comes with 6.6 inches FHD+ IPS LCD display with support of a 60Hz refresh rate. It is powered by SD695 SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage options.
The new Galaxy A23 5G features a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 5MP ultrawide, and a dual 2MP depth plus macro sensor. It comes with an 8MP selfie shooter under the notch.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 5G, 4G LTE, A-GPS, GLONASS, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, 3.5 mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. The Galaxy A23 5GÂ packs the same 5000 mAh battery with 25W fast charge support and runs on Android 12 OS. It comes with 5G SA/NSA with support for 11 5G bands.

Specs:
The new Galaxy A14 5G sports 6.6 inches FHD+ IPS LCD Infinity-V display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The notch carries a 13MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. On the back, the Galaxy A14 features triple-rear cameras with a 50MP main shooter with f/1.8 aperture, along with dual 2MP depth plus macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 with LED flash.
The Galaxy A14 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage. It also comes with a dedicated microSD card slot. All this is packed with a 5000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support and runs on Android 13 with One UI 5.0 on top. Further, the device also features a fingerprint scanner on the side. The Galaxy A14 5G arrives in Black, Light Green, Dark Red, and Silver colors.
Pricing:
In India, Samsung has launched the Galaxy A14 5G with three storage options. It comes with 4GB of RAM as a base model. The device has 64GB of internal storage and costs Rs 16,499. Currently, the 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB storage options are available for Rs 18,999 and Rs 20,999, respectively. A variety of colors are available, including Dark Red, Light Green, and Black.
With SBI and IDFC cards, Galaxy A14 5G customers can receive Rs 1,500 cashback as part of the launch offer.
Galaxy A23 5G comes with two storage options. The base model has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and costs Rs 22,999. Priced at Rs 24,999, the 8GB + 128GB option comes with 128GB of storage. It is available in four colours: Silver, Light Blue, Orange, and Light Blue. On the purchase of the A23 5G, SBI and IDFC cardholders can get Rs 2,000 in cashback.
