In India, Samsung has teased the launch of its Galaxy A-series smartphones. On January 18th, 12 noon is the time for the event. Detailed information about the upcoming South Korean offerings has been posted on the brand’s website on a dedicated microsite. Samsung hasn’t explicitly disclosed how many devices will launch or what the upcoming phones will be called.
On January 18th, Samsung could launch the Galaxy A14 5G, A34 5G, and A54 5G. The number of devices that will debut at the event remains to be seen. While the A14 5G has already appeared in the US market, the A34 5G and A54 5G has yet to go official, but they have received multiple certifications and have also been spotted in leaks and rumors.
According to the microsite, the Galaxy A-series will be available in three colors: Awesome Black, Awesome Burgundy, and Awesome Green. It is confirmed that the Galaxy A-series device will have a 6.6-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. As the Galaxy A14 5G has a 90Hz screen, this is expected on the Galaxy A34 5G or A54 5G.
A teaser also shows three camera rings on the back panel without any modules. In addition to having the same camera design, the Galaxy A14 5G, A34 5G, and A54 5G will also feature optical image stabilization.
Another teaser shows a thick chin and waterdrop notch similar to the Galaxy A14 5G and rumored Galaxy A34 5G. Additionally, the microsite mentions that the upcoming Galaxy A-series phone will run on OneUI and feature a 5G-compatible processor.
