On February 1, Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S23 series at the Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco. Samsung is expected to introduce three new smartphones – Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra – although it hasn’t explicitly confirmed this. The latest leak by the German blog WinFuture leaves little room for imagination regarding the regular and Plus models of the S23 trio.

Design:

The Galaxy S23 Ultra has a boxier, Galaxy Note-like design, while both models have a more rounded design. S23 and S23+ will share several specs but will differ primarily in terms of screen size, storage capacity, battery capacity, and charging speed.

This time both the new Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23+ will look identical to each other. With the same old center punch-hole display on the front of both devices. Sadly next year too will not have an under-display camera feature. The difference we found is that Galaxy S23 has got slightly thicker bezels when compared with Galaxy S23+.

On the back, we have got the Galaxy S22 Ultra-styled triple rear camera aligned vertically without any module. The three sensors protrude out of the body and the LED flash is placed on the top-right of the first sensor.

The power button with volume rockers is on the right. On the bottom, we got the speaker mesh and a USB Type-C port. The Galaxy S23 & Galaxy S23+ measure 7.6mm thick & weighs 167g & 195g respectively. Both of them arrive in four colors Black, Cotton, Green, and Violet colors.

Specs:

The Galaxy S23+ will come with the same old 6.6 inches Dynamic AMOLED 2X LTPO 2.0 panel with a whopping 1750nits of brightness. The Galaxy S23 will sport 6.1 inches Dynamic AMOLED display with 1500nits of brightness. Both the devices will still support 48Hz-120Hz adaptive refresh rate support along with HDR10+ & the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on top.

The Galaxy S23 & Galaxy S23+ are powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. It comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage.

The Galaxy S23+ packs 4700 mAh whereas Galaxy S23 with 3900 mAh battery with 45W fast wired charging support. It also gets 25W wireless fast charge and 10W reverse wireless charging support. Both the devices run on Android 13 OS with OneUI 5.1 on top.
