A new POCO C50 smartphone was teased last week. In India, the POCO C50 will be unveiled tomorrow. In a formal announcement, POCO India took to social media. The POCO C50 India launch microsite has gone live on Flipkart, revealing the smartphone’s specifications ahead of its launch.
According to the POCO C50 launch microsite, the entry-level smartphone will be pre-loaded with Android 12 Go Edition. It appears that the POCO C50 will be a rebranded Redmi A1+, based on the specifications revealed on the launch micro-site.

A micro-site for POCO C50 reveals the smartphone will have a 6.52-inch full-screen display, 120Hz touch sampling, and a waterdrop notch. The microsite reveals a 5MP front shooter will be positioned below the waterdrop notch.
In addition to a MediaTek Helio A22 processor and IMG PowerVR GPU, the POCO C50 will be fueled by a 5000mAh battery unit. It has also been confirmed that the handset supports 10W charging.
On the Flipkart launch microsite, POCO C50 is revealed to have dual rear cameras, one of which is 8MP. The second rear camera could be a depth sensor. A dual LED flash is also confirmed on the rear of the device.
A fingerprint scanner will be mounted on the rear of the POCO C50 for added security. Android 12 (Go Edition) will be pre-installed on the smartphone.
It will have a leather textured back panel and a single speaker. Light blue is the color shown in the teasers.
Several details about the upcoming POCO C-series smartphone have already been revealed. During its official launch tomorrow, the company will announce the price. In India, we can expect the POCO C50 to cost around Rs 7000.
