Oppo unveiled the Oppo Pad tablet along with the Find X5 series of smartphones in February last year. It has been reported that the Chinese manufacturer is working on its successor edition. On Weibo, a new leak has revealed information about its display, battery, and charging capabilities.

Tipster Digital Chat Station reports that the Oppo Pad 2 will come with an 11.x-inch screen. The Oppo Pad’s original display had a resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. According to the leak, the successor edition’s LCD panel will feature a higher resolution of 2800 x 2000 pixels and a refresh rate of 144Hz. There will be support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+ on the device.

There will be a 9,500 mAh battery powering the Oppo Pad 2. This device is likely to support 67W fast charging. According to DCS, the Oppo Pad 2 will come with the Dimensity 9000 chipset. This device is expected to run the Android 13-based ColorOS for Pad OS.

It will look similar to the OnePlus Pad, which will launch on Feb. 7 in India. OnePlus Pad may end up being a rebranded Oppo Pad 2. For more details about Oppo’s next flagship tablet, it is advisable to wait for more reports.

In China, Oppo may announce the Find X6, X6 Pro, and X6 Pro Dimensity Edition in February. Oppo Pad 2 could also be unveiled at the same event.
