In its latest development, POCO X5 series discloses its launch timeline and specifications. Yogesh Brar, a trustworthy leaker, has revealed this information. According to Brar, the POCO X5 Pro will launch this month in India.
Two weeks ago, POCO’s head Himanshu Tandon hinted that the POCO X5 series would launch between January and February. Considering the POCO X5 family members’ recent visits to certification websites and the company’s teases of an imminent launch, Brar’s tip seems highly probable.
POCO plans to launch its X5 line of smartphones in India around the end of January, according to the tipster. Additionally, the POCO X5 Pro will have the same specifications as the Redmi Note 12 Speed Edition. According to Brar, the Redmi Note 12 Speed Edition has been released in China, and it will arrive in India as a POCO X5 Pro, at least in terms of hardware specifications.
POCO X5 Pro:
The new POCO X5 Pro will sport 6.67 inches FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will have a peak brightness of 900 nits and supports 10-bit colors, Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HDR10+.
It is powered by SD778G SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage space.
The POCO X5 Pro will feature a 108MP main Samsung HM2 sensor (f/1.89) remaining two sensors are the 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro sensors. It features a 16MP selfie shooter. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner with IR Blaster support.
The connectivity options include dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, a USB-C port, a linear motor, dual stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The POCO X5 Pro packs a 5000 mAh battery with 67W fast charge support.
It runs on Android 13 OS with MIUI 14 on top.
