Samsung Flex Hybrid OLED tech:
At CES 2023, Samsung unveiled its latest OLED technology, Flex Hybrid. With its ability to fold and slide, the Flex Hybrid OLED panel is designed for futuristic devices like smartphones, tablets, and laptops. As a result, advanced compact devices can still pack large displays, providing users with larger screens when needed.
With its 4:3 aspect ratio, the 10.5-inch Flex Hybrid OLED screen can expand to a 12.4-inch 16:10 screen when opened. Samsung Display will also display the Flex Slidable Solo and Flex Slidable Duet at CES 2023 in addition to the Flex Hybrid OLED. Sliding open either one of these OLED panels will increase the screen size from 14 inches to 17.3 inches while sliding open the other will increase the screen size from 14 inches to 17.3 inches on both sides. Laptops could benefit particularly from this technology, providing users with a larger display without the need for a separate monitor.
