In preparation for CES 2023, Acer has announced a wide range of products, including a few more budget-oriented laptops and desktops in its Aspire series. A smart speaker and a bike desk were also introduced by the company.

Acer Aspire 5:

The new Acer Aspire 5 offers 13th-generation Intel Core processors, which can be paired with Nvidia GeForce RTX 2050 graphics to boost workloads like video editing and other tasks that benefit from GPU power. Additionally, it comes with up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM and a 1TB SSD.

There are 14-inch and 16-inch versions of the Acer Aspire 5 in 16:9 and 16:10 aspect ratios, respectively. Also included is a 1080p webcam with temporal noise reduction for better video quality during meetings. This laptop even supports Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.1, which are uncommon on more affordable laptops.

The 14-inch Acer Aspire 5 will be available in North America in March for $549.99. It will be available in Europe in February for €799. Initially, the 15-inch model will cost $599.99 in the US, while it will cost €799. In April, a 17-inch model will be available only in North America for $699.99.

Acer Aspire 3:

Even lower in price, Acer is also updating its Aspire 3 series with the new Core i3-N series processors. This laptop boasts an improved thermal design with 17% more thermal capacity, which should keep the processors running smoothly for a longer period of time.

As with the Aspire 5, the Aspire 3 lineup includes three sizes. The 14-inch version has an aspect ratio of 16:10, while the other two have an aspect ratio of 16:9.

In addition to being thinner and lighter, the new laptops feature metal chassis for a more premium feel. HDMI 2.1 and USB-C are the ports available (no Thunderbolt).

All three versions of the Acer Aspire 3 will be available in North America in March, with the 14-inch model starting at $499, the 15-inch model starting at $349, and the 17-inch version costing $379.99. The 15-inch model will launch in Europe in January for €499, while the 14-inch and 17-inch models will launch in February for €549 and €599.

Acer Aspire S All-in-One:

The Aspire S 32 and Aspire S 27 are new all-in-one PCs from Acer for desktop users. This laptop features 13th-generation Intel Core processors and Intel Arc A-series discrete graphics. The Aspire S 27 comes with 12th-generation processors instead, and it only supports Intel Iris Xe graphics. In both sizes, you can configure up to 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD, plus an HDD if you need more space.

They both feature a Quad HD display with a 16:9 aspect ratio and a nearly bezel-less design. You can choose from a 1080p webcam with a built-in ring light or a 1440p webcam with a built-in ring light if you want to look your best even in low light. For easy login, the webcams also support Windows Hello facial recognition, or you can use the fingerprint reader.

No matter what size you choose, you can expect a clean design and a metal chassis with most ports on the back. It includes dual HDMI, Ethernet, and more.

Acer Aspire S desktops will be available in North America in the first quarter of this year. Currently, the 27-inch version is priced at $1,199.99, while the 32-inch version is priced at $1,699.99. European models will launch in January for €1,199, and in June for €1,799.
