Xiaomi is preparing to launch the Xiaomi 13 series in its domestic market. The Xiaomi 13 and the Xiaomi 13 Pro have been confirmed to be launched as part of the Xiaomi 13 series. Xiaomi has started revealing the key specifications of its 13 series smartphones via teasers ahead of their launch. Xiaomi has confirmed that the 13 series smartphones will feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chips in a recent teaser.
Xiaomi’s latest launch teaser revealed the Xiaomi 13 series would be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processors with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
The Xiaomi 13 series has been compared with the Apple iPhone 14 series as well. According to Xiaomi, the 13 series multi-core performance is 37% better than Apple’s A16 Bionic which powers the latest iPhones. In addition, Xiaomi claims the GPU performance of the 13 series is 42% better than the A16 Bionic.
Another launch teaser revealed that Xiaomi 13 Pro will have a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor. The Xiaomi 12S Ultra had previously used the same sensor. The Xiaomi 13 series smartphones will also feature a 75mm telephoto lens with f/2.0 aperture and Leica imaging technology. Xiaomi has also confirmed that the 13 series devices will be IP68-rated.

Xiaomi 13 duo’s key specifications have been revealed in a new leak ahead of the launch. According to the leak, the Xiaomi 13 will come with a 6.36-inch 120Hz flat display panel with Full HD+ resolution. The Pro variant is expected to feature a 6.73-inch curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2K resolution. Xiaomi 13 series devices will have a 1900nits peak brightness E6 AMOLED display.
According to reports, the Xiaomi 13 will be equipped with a 50MP Sony IMX800 primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens. Xiaomi 13 Pro might feature a 50MP triple-rear camera setup including a 50MP Sony IMX989 sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens.
Xiaomi 13 features a 4,500mAh battery and fast charging support of 67W. On the other hand, the Pro variant might have a 4820mAh battery unit and support 120W fast charging. Xiaomi 13 series smartphones are expected to support 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.
