A pair of Samsung smartphones were spotted in today’s Geekbench database, which most likely means they’re about to become official. In this case, it is the Galaxy A54 5G and the Galaxy F04s.
Samsung’s A5x is expected to be the newest member of its best-selling line, while Flipkart is likely to be exclusive to the latter.
In Geekbench, the Galaxy A54 5G prototype achieved a single-core score of 776 and a multi-core score of 2,599, respectively. Samsung’s One UI 5 was installed over Android 13 (undoubtedly). It’s highly likely that the phone will come with an 8GB option as well as a 6GB model.
According to previous rumors, the chipset at the center is the S5E8835, which is the successor to the Exynos 1280. Its official name is likely to be Exynos 1380. There are four performance cores at 2.4 GHz and four efficiency cores at 2.0 GHz in this CPU. It is also equipped with the Mali G68 GPU.
Earlier this month renders showcasing the Galaxy A54 5G were leaked, showing a 5,100 mAh battery, a 50MP main camera, and a 6.4″ 120Hz screen.
As for the Galaxy F04s, it will be an entry-level model exclusively available on Flipkart in India. In addition to rebranding existing devices, it remains to be seen which model the F04s will replace.
Using Geekbench, the prototype’s single-core score was 163 and its multi-core score was 944. It runs Android 12 and is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC and PowerVR Rogue GE8320 GPU. There is also 3GB of RAM on board.
