In India, Poco will soon launch its entry-level phone, the Poco C50. Multiple markets will receive the Poco X5 and X5 Pro in January or February 2023. A flagship phone from the F-series may be announced after these products. The Poco F5 is reportedly a rebranded version of the Redmi K60.

POCO F5 Pro:

A new report from tipster Kacper Skrzypek reveals that the Redmi K60 will be rebranded as the Poco F5 Pro. The tipper is unsure of the identity and specifications of the Poco F5.

As of this year, Poco has released the Poco F4 and Poco F4 GT. A tweaked version of the Redmi K40s was released as the former, while the Redmi K50 Gaming was rebranded as the latter. Since Redmi will not be releasing the Redmi K60 Gaming, it is unclear whether Poco will release the Poco F5 GT.

There is no indication that the Poco F5 is a rebranded version of the Redmi K60e. It is because the K60e is exclusive to the Chinese market. Poco did not launch the Poco F4 Pro this year. Therefore, Poco may skip the Poco F5 in 2023.

POCO X5:

The tipster claims that the Chinese variant of the Redmi Note 12 5G will be released in the global market as well. According to him, the Poco X5 5G (codenamed “moonstone”) will have the same ROM as the global Redmi Note 12 5G. It does, however, have a different chipset than the X5. Poco X5 will come with a Snapdragon 695 chipset instead of the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 on the Redmi model. It is possible to make one ROM for both chipsets since they are built on the same Qualcomm platform.

It appears the Poco X5 5G may borrow the rest of its specs from the Redmi Note 12 5G. With a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display, up to 8 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging, the Redmi phone features 48-megapixel dual cameras and an 8-megapixel front camera.

POCO X5 Pro:

In China, Redmi recently released the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition. Globally, this device will be rebranded as the Poco X5 Pro 5G, according to the tipster. It features a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display, Snapdragon 778Gv, up to 12 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, a 5,000mAh battery with 67W charging, 108-megapixel triple cameras, and a 16-megapixel front camera.
