According to a media report, Carl Pei’s Nothing could soon launch its sub-brand after launching one smartphone and two TWS earphones since its debut last year. According to Nothing’s firmware, it might be called “Particles by XO.”
According to Kuba, wireless earbuds have a well-rounded, peanut-shaped design language. In an L-shaped device, the body is pointing upwards when inserted into the ear. In the final image, you can see what appears to be a puck-shaped charging case. There is a minimalist design and the earbuds aren’t quite as transparent as the Nothing Ear (1) – perhaps this is why Nothing wants to rebrand the earbuds.
Additionally, the source shared images of Particles by XO’s TWS earphones and their charging case. It is possible that the TWS will be the first product introduced by the company. It’s unclear whether “Particles by XO” actually refers to the sub-brand or if it’s similar to “Redmi by Xiaomi.” The company name would be XO and the product line would be Particles.
Fashion-centric people could be the target audience for these earphones when they launch in the US soon. No word yet from Carl Pei or Nothing about this sub-brand, but the firmware from Nothing’s servers reveals the buds will feature active noise cancellation (ANC) and LHDC.
