The new iPad mini’s main selling point will be its processor, according to Kuo’s latest tweet, implying only specs will be updated and no cosmetic changes will be made. Moreover, he said Apple is unlikely to replace the Mini with a foldable iPad in 2025 since a foldable device would cost much more, making it unattractive.

Samsung, Oppo, Huawei, and Xiaomi have all already launched at least one foldable device in this segment, which shows that the number of foldable devices is on the rise.
