Honor launched a number of new products earlier today in China. Honor launched the Honor 80 GT smartphone and Honor Pad V8 Pro tablet. In addition to these two products, the Chinese OEM also introduced the next-generation fitness tracker—Honor Band 7. It is the successor to the Band 6 but does not offer any major upgrades.
The Honor Band 7 has a similar design to its predecessor. Combined with the strap, the dial is rectangular. It features a high-gloss metal case and a 1.47-inch color AMOLED display protected by 2.5D curved glass. The display is comparable to that of other products in the same category. As a comparison, the Redmi Band 2 will have similar display specifications.
There are all the usual fitness tracking features on the wearable. The device supports all-weather blood oxygen monitoring, heart rate monitoring, and sleep tracking. In addition, the band has more than 96 sports modes for tracking a variety of sports activities.
Its battery can also last for up to 14 days if used lightly and up to 10 days if used heavily. In addition to fast charging, it supports Bluetooth 5.2 for connectivity. The device supports payments, remote control photography, and music playback.
There are three colors available for the wearable – Rose Pink, Cedar Blue, and Magic Night Black. The Honor Band 7 is available in China for 249 Yuan (Rs. 2,958). It will, however, be available at a discounted price of 199 Yuan.
Pre-orders start tonight, and the game goes on sale on January 6.
