Previously we saw press images showing the new Vivo S16 series in full glory. We also got the key specs of the new Vivo S16 & Vivo S16e leaked online. Now Vivo has finally revealed the launch date for the upcoming mid-range series aka Vivo S16.
According to Vivo’s Weibo account, the Vivo S16 series will debut on Dec. 22 at 7 p.m. Three devices will be announced, including the Vivo S16e, S16, and S16 Pro. Therefore, all three phones will be unveiled on Dec. 22.
Vivo S16:
Vivo is all set to soon introduce its premium mid-range smartphone Vivo S16 in China soon. Ahead of the launch, we have got the complete specs sheet leaked for the new Vivo S16. As per the source, the new Vivo S16 will sport 6.78 inches FHD+ AMOLED display (2400×1080p) with 120Hz refresh rates.
The device is now powered by SD870 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage space. It features a 64MP main sensor coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro sensor on the back. On the front, the smartphone ships with a massive 50MP selfie shooter.
It packs 4600 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. The device runs on Android 13 with OriginOS 3.0 on top. It measures 7.4mm thick and weighs 182g. The device also gets NFC and in-display fingerprint support.
Vivo S16e:
The new Vivo S16 will sport 6.62 inches FHD+ AMOLED display (2400×1080p) with 120Hz refresh rates.
The device is now powered by Exynos 1080 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage space. It features a 50MP main sensor coupled with a 2MP depth and 2MP macro sensor on the back. On the front, the smartphone ships with a 16MP selfie shooter.
It packs a 4600 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. The device runs on Android 13 with OriginOS 3.0 on top. It measures 7.8mm thick and weighs 188g. The device also gets NFC and in-display fingerprint support.
