Lu Weibing, the Chinese tech giant’s president, teased a new high-end smartphone. As we mentioned in the online post, Xiaomi’s 14 series of handsets will be highly powerful. One commenter called for the official to stop speaking in riddles and reveal the specifications under this post. In response to this comment, the senior executive said that the specifications would scare people. It means the Xiaomi 14 lineup will have some powerful hardware.
In the meantime, the 14 series has yet to be officially unveiled, so all we have are rumors and reports. The new premium phones are confirmed to be among the first flagship models to feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. It will also run on the company’s proprietary MIUI 14 Android skin, which will be the most streamlined MIUI launch ever.
