Xiaomi 13 Pro was allegedly shown in a live photo a few weeks ago. Even though it will feature a 1″ IMX989 sensor similar to the 12S Ultra, the design looks quite restrained compared to the “look at me!” appearance of the Ultra. Zoutons and OnLeaks have teamed up to create renders that show off all sides of the upcoming flagship phone.
Xiaomi’s upcoming 13 renders reveal the company is moving in a different design direction. OnLeaks and CompareDial have posted renders showing the Xiaomi 13 has flat sides and a flat display.
Xiaomi 13 Pro:
Despite its dull appearance, the camera island is what counts – a huge 50MP sensor, specifically. The camera system also comes with a wide-angle and telephoto lens (both 50MP, allegedly; sensor size and focal length not yet known).
Including the camera island, the Xiaomi 13 Pro measures 163.0 x 74.6 8.8mm. As for dimensions, the new model is slightly thicker (and slimmer) than the 12 Pro.
According to the renders, the new Pro model will have a smaller display than its predecessor – 6.65″ (down from 6.73″). Like before, the display will have curved sides and a selfie camera will be centered in the punch hole.
Xiaomi 13:
As a result of recent iPhone generations, the new design direction is all too familiar and currently in vogue. In addition to the flat surface, the phone features a minimal bezel with a centrally-located hole punch camera.
A boxy, slab-like appearance has also been created by flattening the sides of the phone. Although the back glass is not as curved as the iPhone, it should still be easier to hold.
A new camera island with lenses in three of the four corners has also been added, once again in the familiar large square shape.
As for dimensions, the phone will measure 152.8 x 71.5 x 8.3 mm. With the camera bump, it measures 10.3mm thick.
