It is expected that the Redmi K60 flagship series will debut sometime in December, however, no official date has yet been announced. A new report suggests the upcoming premium series will include three models – the standard Redmi K60, the higher-end Redmi K60 Pro, and the Redmi K60E. The vanilla model is said to have a better chipset than the Pro model.

The Redmi K60 series has received some interesting details recently thanks to Kacper Skrzypek. There will be three models in the lineup: the Redmi K60, the Redmi K60 Pro, and the Redmi K60E. Apparently, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor will power the vanilla model, codenamed “Socrates”.

According to Skrzypek, the Pro model (codenamed “Mondrian”) will be powered by an older Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Normally, the higher-end model has a better chipset.

A MediaTek chipset is rumored to power the Redmi K60E, which could be renamed the Redmi K60 Extreme. It is codenamed “Rembrandt”.

According to a recent 3C listing, only one of the three handsets will support 120W fast charging. The remaining two devices will support fast charging at 67W. It appears the Redmi K60 Series will be launched soon.
