An upcoming Xiaomi budget phone has been revealed by TENAA – the 22120RN86C. It looks like this one will launch quietly in December based on its model number. But what exactly is it?

The fingerprint reader on the camera island suggests this is related to the Redmi 10A and Redmi 10C. The Xiaomi Redmi 11A is expected to be part of the A-line.

The new Redmi 11A looks identical to Redmi 10A from the front & back with a waterfall display.

Despite the similarities between the 10A and 10C, the A-variant boasts a lower-end Helio G25 chipset and a 13MP camera (while the 10C offers a Snapdragon 680 and a 50MP main camera). Both phones are about as inexpensive as full-blooded Android phones go – the Redmi 10A takes you about Rs.8500/- for the base 3/32GB model.

It is likely that the Redmi 11A will fall into the same price range. In the meantime, TENAA is mum on the specs, but we’ll keep an eye out.
