This is not a foldable flagship, but rather a basic featurephone from HMD Global. Nokia 2780 Flips have clamshell designs, T9 keyboards, and don’t have touch screens.
The new Nokia 2780 Flip 4G comes with a traditional flip-phone form factor which we saw in the past. Nothing special in terms of design. It measures 0.76 inches and 137g in weight. The new Nokia 2760 Flip 4G sports a 2.7 inches VGA display with a resolution of 240*320p. There is a secondary notification display of 1.77 inches on the outside.
This phone is equipped with Qualcomm’s 215 chipset, which has a quad-core CPU running at 1.3GHz and a 150 Mbps LTE modem. VoLTE and RTT – real-time texting – are supported by the phone.
The device packs a 1450 mAh battery and runs on KaiOS out of the box. The Nokia 2780 Flip 4G comes with a 5MP single rear camera and no selfie shooter. It arrives with 512MB internal storage & 4MB RAM but will have support for a microSD card.
It comes with standard connectivity options like 4G, Wifi, A-GPS, mp3 player, MicroUSB port, 3.5mm audio jack, and T4/M4 Hearing Air Compatible (HAC) rating.
Unlike Nokia 2760 Flip, Nokia 2780 Flip offers FM radio support as well as two different colors – Red and Blue. U.S. sales will begin on November 15 at a price of $90.
