Nearing the beginning of the new year, major smartphone brands are planning to launch their latest models. New leaks have revealed some information regarding Xiaomi’s premium 13 series.
NoteBookCheck obtained the leak from the Chinese microblogging website Weibo. The blogger shared key details about the display of the Xiaomi 13 and the higher-end Xiaomi 13 Pro in this online post. Lei Jun, the CEO of the Chinese tech giant, has confirmed the company will launch a new Ultra model similar to the Mi 11 Ultra. The Pro and base models of its upcoming flagship smartphones have been revealed.
The Xiaomi 13 is rumored to have a 6.38-inch display. According to reports, the Xiaomi 12 will sport a display slightly larger than the 6.28-inch display in the upcoming base variant. In spite of the larger display, it will still feature a Full HD+ resolution. A 6.73-inch panel will be found on the 13 Pro, which will have a QHD+ resolution, while its display size remains the same as the 12 Pro.
This is still just an unconfirmed report, so take it with a grain of salt for now. As far as we know, the Xiaomi 13 series will launch shortly after Qualcomm unveils its Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
