Speculation about the upcoming Vivo X90 series is gradually surfacing. Vivo unveiled the X80 and X80 Pro in China in April. Both devices became available outside of China within a few months. According to Chinese tipsters, Vivo X90 will make its home market debut before the end of the year. According to another tipster, it will go official in December.

In December 2021, Vivo launched the Vivo S12 series in China. This year, Vivo officially launched the S15 series in the home market. In December, Vivo is expected to debut its S16 lineup. According to tipster Assen, Vivo will not launch the S16 lineup this year.

Vivo’s X90 series will be the brand’s next major launch. The company will introduce the X90 lineup in December instead of the S16 series.

The product lifecycle of the Vivo X80 series will end in December, according to the tipster. Vivo and OPPO are known for taking around a month to clear existing inventory before releasing a new series. After the X80 lineup’s inventory is cleared, the X90 series will be unveiled in December.

Vivo X90 specifications were not shared by the tipster. There is rumor that the Vivo X90 Pro+ will feature an AMOLED display with curved edges, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 / MediaTek’s new Dimensity flagship chip, Vivo V2 ISP, LPDDR5x RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage, as well as a 5,000mAh battery. It will have a 1-inch camera sensor, an ultra-wide shooter, and a 64-megapixel telephoto camera.

In addition, the X90 Pro will feature an AMOLED screen with curved edges, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, a 1-inch camera sensor, and a 4,780mAh battery with 100W charging. It is likely that the X90 will have a battery capacity of 4,700mAh.
