A new budget smartphone has been launched by Samsung in India. Galaxy A04s is the company’s new budget smartphone under Rs 15,000 in India. Galaxy A04s is Samsung’s lowest-tier A-series smartphone in India. Also, it is the first smartphone under the Galaxy A04 series in India.

Design:

The new Galaxy A04s will look identical in terms of design when compared with Galaxy M13. Yes, the Galaxy A04s will feature triple cameras aligned vertically. Further, it will arrive with the same Infinity-V display on the front with thicker bezels. The power key also doubles up as a fingerprint scanner is placed on the right with volume rockers.

Specs:

The new Galaxy A04s sports 6.5 inches HD+ Infinity-V PLS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass on top. The new Galaxy A04s is powered by an Exynos 850 SoC 2.0 GHz Octa-Core processor coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM & 32GB/64GB internal storage.

 

On the back, the Galaxy A04s features triple rear cameras with a 50MP main sensor having an aperture of f/1.8, a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a  2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 and LED flash. There is a 5MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.2.

All this is packed with a larger 5000 mAh battery and comes with 15W fast charging support. The new Galaxy M13 runs on Android 12 with One UI 4.1 Core on top. The device also keeps a 3.5 mm jack, USB Type-C port, FM Radio, Bluetooth 5.0, Wifi, A-GPS, and GLONASS, and also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Pricing:

The Samsung Galaxy A04s comes with 64GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM in India. It costs Rs 13,499. Samsung.com and leading online portals sell the device. The launch offer includes a cashback of Rs 1,000 for SBI credit card holders. It is also possible to bring the price down to Rs 12,499 by using their Slice or One Card.
