Redmi Note 12 series is expected to launch in China soon. Several phones are likely to be launched as part of the Note 12 series.
Multiple new models could be added to the Redmi Note 12 series in the future. It is expected that the Redmi Note 12 series will debut in China in November. Based on the JD listing, there will be three Note 12 models: Note 12 5G, Note 12 Pro 5G, and Note 12 Pro+ 5G. Note 12 Pro Extreme Edition or Note 12 Pro Ultra could be the name of the fourth smartphone in the Note lineup, which could be the most premium offering.
None of the four models are specified in the listing. There have, however, been leaks about the Redmi Note 12 series in the past. Xiaomi could launch a Redmi Note series phone with a Dimensity 1080 SoC, according to a recent leak. MediaTek recently launched a 6nm chipset with two ARM Cortex-A78 cores operating at up to 2.6GHz.
The Note 12 Pro Ultra could include the new MediaTek SoC. For Redmi’s K-series smartphones, Xiaomi has branded them Extreme Edition, positioning them as performance-oriented all-around. A powerful chipset could be under the hood of the first Extreme Edition phone in the Note 12 series. It would not surprise me if the Note 12 Pro Extreme Edition is launched as a POCO smartphone globally. It could also launch as the Xiaomi 12i in select markets.
There is also a rumor that one of the Pro models will feature a 50MP ultrawide camera, a first for the Note series. There will be an 8MP ultrawide, a 2MP macro, and a 50MP primary camera on Note 12.
