Redmi will finally unveil the Redmi Note 12 smartphone series tomorrow (Oct. 27). It is expected that the company will announce the Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro+, and the Note 12 Explorer at tomorrow’s event. Official confirmation on the display of the Redmi Note 12 Pro models was released today by the company.
According to the poster, the Redmi Note 12 Pro series will have a flat AMOLED screen with a punch-hole at the top. Diamond-like pixels will be arranged for more clarity and better picture quality. The display will feature high-frequency PWM dimming at 1920Hz and 10,000 levels of brightness. Additionally, it will offer better protection against harmful blue rays.
According to the brand’s images, the Redmi Note 12 Pro series will feature top- and bottom-facing speaker grilles. An IR blaster, a microphone, and a 3.5mm audio jack are also located on the device’s top edge. Aside from the speaker grille, the bottom edge of the device features a USB-C port, a microphone, and a SIM card slot. It appears that the Note 12 family comes with a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary camera with OIS. On the other hand, the Note 12 Pro+ will feature an OIS-assisted 200-megapixel Samsung HPX camera. It is expected that both devices will have 5,000mAh batteries. 67W fast charging is expected on the Pro model, while 120W fast charging is expected on the Pro+ model.
