In the coming year, Redmi is expected to launch the K60 series. As a result, rumors about the K60 lineup have already started circulating. An upcoming phone in the K60 series has been leaked by well-known Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station.
It was reported by the tipster that the Redmi K60 series phone has a display with a resolution of 2K. Since the entire K50 series of phones available in China features an AMOLED screen, it could be equipped with one. There is no mention of the screen size or refresh rate in the leak.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, it will have a 5,500mAh battery. The device supports wired charging up to 67W and wireless charging up to 30W. Featuring wireless charging for the first time, it will be the first Redmi smartphone to do so. According to the leak, it will come preinstalled with Android 13 and MIUI 12.
The Redmi K60 Pro is rumored to include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, due to be released in November. Accordingly, it is likely that the aforementioned specifications belong to the vanilla K60. Currently, it is unclear how many Redmi K60 devices exist.
The K60 lineup is rumored to be announced in China in Q1 2023. Globally and in India, the K60 is expected to be rebranded as the POCO F5. According to reports, the POCO F5 will launch after the K60.
