Dimensity 1080 is a new chipset from MediaTek. In Q4 2022, Dimensity 1080-powered phones will be available, the Taiwanese chipmaker confirmed. Xiaomi, Motorola, and Honor are some of the brands expected to launch D1080 phones. Realme will launch a phone featuring the new chip in India, according to reliable tipster Mukul Sharma.

The tipster did not disclose the name of the Realme phone with the Dimensity 1080 chip. A successor to last year’s Dimensity 920, the D1080 is here. With the D920, the Realme 9 Pro+ and Narzo 50 Pro 5G are equipped.

Realme VP Mr. Madhav Sheth announced yesterday that Realme will introduce Dimensity 1080-powered devices this year. Sheth did not reveal anything about the Dimensity 1080-powered Realme devices nor their launch date, but we expect to hear more about them soon.

Dimensity 1080 is likely to be found in successor models, such as the Realme 10 Pro+ and Narzo 60 Pro 5G. There is no official confirmation of their existence at the moment. Realme 9 Pro+ went official in February. So, if the Realme 10 Pro+ exists, it may emerge around the same time.

It is estimated that the Realme 10 will be officially announced in various markets within the next few months. Certification platforms in India, Indonesia, Thailand, and Europe have approved the RMX3630 model number. Geekbench and FCC certification databases also list it. Currently, reports indicate that the Realme 10 will have a Helio G99 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging.

This month may see the debut of the Realme 10 series. For more information about the Realme 10 lineup, we should wait for further leaks.
