A foldable phone from OPPO was announced in December 2021 called “OPPO Find N.” Some sources (from the industry) speculated that OPPO might also launch a vertically foldable phone like Samsung’s Z Flip series and Huawei’s P50 Pocket.

OPPO’s upcoming flip phone was revealed by the famous blogger DigitalChatStation (on Weibo) this morning. Before discussing the specifications, it’s worth noting that the foldable device will be named “OPPO Find Flip.”

The Find N was Oppo’s first foldable device last year, and now the company is working on a clamshell version. Digital Chat Station reports that the Oppo Find Flip will have an internal screen measuring 6.8″ and an external screen measuring 3.26″.

It was rumored that the main foldable screen as well as the one on the cover would be OLED. The battery will be 4,300 mAh.

According to the tipster, we can also expect a 32MP selfie camera with a Sony IMX709 sensor, as well as a 50MP main camera with a Sony IMX766 sensor. An 8MP ultrawide with an 8MP Sony IMX355 unit will be available.

Considering the leakster’s track record, these predictions are likely to be accurate. Hoping Oppo announces its clamshell foldable soon so we don’t have to wait too long.
