Oppo introduced the low-end A17 smartphone to the Indian market last month, and today we get what is essentially a variation of it. Oppo quietly listed it on its Indian website under the name A17k.

Design:
The new Oppo A17k looks similar to any other Oppo A17 from the front with a typical waterdrop notch and thicker bezels surrounding the screen. The sides aka chassis are again made out of plastic. The power button also doubles up as a fingerprint scanner along with volume rockers on the right.
The mic hole is on the top with the SIM tray located towards the left of the device. The bottom of the device will feature a USB Type-C port with speaker mesh and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
The Oppo A17k comes with a single rear camera with big circular cut-outs. The main sensor is on the top with an LED flash. It arrives in Gold or Navy Blue colors.
Specs:
OPPO A17k sports 6.56 inches HD+ waterdrop notch with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. The device is powered by MediaTek Helio G35 SoC coupled with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage with a microSD card slot.
The new OPPO A17k comes with a single rear camera with an 8MP main sensor with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. There is a 5MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
It comes with a 5000 mAh battery with 10W charging support. It runs on Android 12 with ColorOS 12.2 on top. The connectivity options include Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, GLONASS, FM Radio, a micro USB port, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The new OPPO A17k with 3GB+64GB cost Rs.10,499/- in India.
