OPPO is working on the Reno 9 series. Digital Chat Station recently revealed the chipset of the Reno 9 Pro. He has now returned with new information on the Reno 9 family of cameras. A second source has shared images of the Reno 9’s retail box.
The number of devices in the Reno 9 family has not been revealed by DCS. There will be three models: the Reno 9, the Reno 9 Pro, and the Reno 9 Pro Plus.
Unlike its predecessor, the Reno 8 Pro, the Reno 9 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 778G. According to reports, Reno 9 Pro will use the older SD778G chip. According to the tipster, the device will have a 64-megapixel main camera.
MediaTek’s MT6895 chip, which is the Dimensity 8100 chipset, will be used in the top variant of the Reno 9 series. The device will feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary camera. The Reno 9 Pro+ model is likely to be released in the Chinese market.
According to rumors, the Reno 9 series will feature a 4,500mAh battery. Reno 9 will be available in a red variant. Other details about the series have not yet been revealed. As early as November is rumored to be the launch date for the Reno 9 lineup. In December, OPPO is expected to launch its Find N2 foldable phone and clamshell phone. Therefore, it is likely that the Reno 9 series will break cover around a month before its release.
