The company has announced its latest Blaze phone, Lava Blaze 5G, as the cheapest 5G phone available in India at the India Mobile Congress 2022. Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Railways, Communications, Electronics & IT, unveiled the phone.

Design:

The new Lava Blaze Pro will arrive with a new design this time. Yes, the back of the new Lava Blaze 5G comes with a rectangular camera module with triple cameras.

 

The Lava Blaze 5G gets a glossy glass back which gives it a premium feel to the device. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner below the camera module. It comes in two colors Blue & Green colors. The power button with volume rockers is on the right side of the device.

Specs:

The new Lava Blaze 5G comes with 6.5 inches HD+ IPS LCD display with a waterdrop notch. It also supports a 90Hz refresh rate. The Lava Blaze 5G comes with MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM & 128GB internal storage. It also got an option to expand the storage through a dedicated microSD card slot.

 

The Lava Blaze 5G comes with a 50MP main sensor coupled with a 2MP depth and 2MP macro sensor with LED flash. There is an 8MP selfie shooter with an f/2.0 aperture. The device comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The connectivity options include Dual SIM with Dual 5G, 4G LTE and VoLTE, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wifi, USB Type-C port, FM Radio, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The new Lava Blaze 5G will pack a 5000 mAh battery with 10W fast charge support.  It runs on Android 12 OS out of the box.

The new Lava Blaze 5G will cost Rs.10,000/- in India. We should know the exact price in a few weeks after it becomes available for pre-order around Diwali.
