A premium midrange smartphone was unveiled by iQOO at its launch event in China today. In addition to this device, iQOO introduced the iQOO TWS Air, its first true wireless headset for gaming.

In terms of design, the iQOO TWS Air is semi-in-ear. The earbuds are polished, while the charging case is matte. With their black and yellow color scheme, the earbuds look quite appealing and sporty.

Featuring 14.2mm bio-carbon fiber moving coil composite diaphragms and a high-magnet NdFeB magnetic circuit, the headphones produce high-quality sound. In order to improve audio clarity and reduce noise, the earbuds have fluid mechanics vents that allow air to flow freely into and out of the sound cavity. It is also dust- and water resistant to IP54.

With Vivo’s Golden Ear Acoustics Lab Tuning, the TWS Air provides strong bass along with clear vocals and treble. Thanks to an AI call noise reduction algorithm, the earbuds have two mics that provide a crisp calling experience. It comes with Bluetooth 5.2 technology and 94ms low latency gaming mode.

With a 29mAh battery, each earbud can last 4.8 hours. A 430mAh battery powering the case along with the earbuds provide a maximum playback time of 25 hours. With its USB Type-C port, the case can be filled up in 140 minutes. It takes 60 minutes for the buds to fully charge, while 10 minutes inside the case allows them to play for 1.5 hours.

The iQOO TWS Air Gaming earphones, which cost 199 yuan (Rs.2300/-), are now available for pre-order in China. Consumers who preorder earphones can obtain them for 169 yuan (about Rs.2000/-).
