With existing Intel 600 and new Intel 700 series chipset motherboards, enthusiasts can take advantage of 13th Gen Intel CoreTM processor performance improvements. The 13th Gen Intel Core can be customized based on the features and budget preferences of users with both DDR5 and DDR4 memory support.

Backward-compatible Intel 700 Series Chipset
A new Intel 700 Series chipset is being launched alongside 13th Gen Intel® CoreTM desktop processors. With eight PCIe Gen 4.0 lanes plus eight PCIe Gen 3.0 lanes, the chipset offers 28 total lanes, USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 (20Gbps) ports provide faster USB connections, and DMI Gen 4.0 allows faster connectivity to peripheral devices. Backward and forward compatibility is also included. Upgrade to 13th Gen Intel® CoreTM processors with existing Intel 600 chipsets.
