A new HTC phone named the Wildfire E Plus was unveiled in Russia. Despite competition in the smartphone market, Taiwanese brands have been missing since 2018. Some markets have, however, seen the launch of “Wildfire” branded low-priced models. HTC has now unveiled the Wildfire E Plus.

It features a 6.52-inch display with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The device runs on a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6739 processor.

Besides the 2 GB of RAM, the device also has 32 GB of storage. It runs Android 12 (Go edition). There is a microSD card slot for additional storage. The battery supports 10W charging and has a capacity of 5,150mAh.

HTC Wildfire E Plus comes with a 5-megapixel camera on the front. There is a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel macro camera on the phone’s back.

There is a side-facing fingerprint scanner and a face unlock feature for security. Other features include dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB-C port, and 3.5mm audio jack.

HTC Wildfire E Plus costs RUB 7,990 (Rs.10,600/-). There is only one color available: black.
