One of the first chipsets to use ARM’s high-performance Cortex-X2 core was MediaTek’s 4-nm chipset released last year. The company is expected to release its next-generation flagship chipset in November, which is just around the corner.

A trustworthy tipster reports that MediaTek’s Dimensity 9200 SoC will use ARM’s Cortex-X3 processor, which will provide 25% more performance than its predecessor.

It is also expected that the Immortalis G715 GPU will make an appearance, further boosting performance. As before, the SoC will be built on TSMC’s 4nm manufacturing node, and it will likely use Cortex-A710 and Cortex-A510 cores.

Vivo and Oppo are expected to launch the Dimensity 9200 much sooner than their predecessors.
